The Cadillac ELR will feature an electrical space system comprised of a T-formed lithium ion battery, an electrical drive unit, along with a four-cylinder engine-generator. It uses electricity since it’s primary source they are driving the vehicle without needing gasoline or creating tailpipe pollutants. Once the battery’s energy is low, the ELR effortlessly switches to extended-range mode make it possible for driving for 100s of more miles.
Cadillac selected the title ELR to point the car’s electric space technology, consistent with the brand’s 3-letter worldwide model naming convention.
